But those games are not published by Sony, which is why there's every possibility they could end up on the 360. (could. I'm not saying they definately would). Every time a Sony fanboy says "there's no way you'll even sniff this game, so STFU!" the great god of gaming intervenes and brings another "PS3 exclusive/only" to the 360. Yet they still won't learn.
Sorry, but I disagree. Halo 1 and 2 is better than time splitters in everyway I can think of. Call of Duty was good (on and offline) but...you can guess the rest.
Did he really? He should know better. The Playstation name is it's killer app: people buy it just because it's called a "Playstation". Although, it seems this time people are discouraged because of it's high price point. I do wonder what the PS3's first true killer app will be.
Halo 2 is good. It slaps just about every other FPS about. But it's not as good as it COULD have been, and I think if many elements were more like Halo CE, it would have lived up to (my) expectations.

Sadly, it seems the criteria for this selection of weapons is how powerful they are, which is a shame, because the weapons I like the most are the ones that simply feel (or look) awesome. Vigoorian Flails from Ninja Gaiden...almost every weapon in Halo CE...the Scarab Gun in Halo 2...the escavation drill in Dead Rising...Ivy's whip/sword from Soul Calibre...the mining drill from Ranger X...Tsuma's Blades from Otogi 2...your car in Burnout...

Sorry, but even if this was a 360 game, I would be sceptical. Having seen what so many "next-gen" games really look, (from all platforms). I wouldn't say for sure whether or not we'll ever see in-game graphics like this in this gen, but I honestly don't think we will. That shot looks ery good, even for CGI. What makes me doubt that this is in-game, is the very distinct lack of polygons. And I may be mistaken, but isn't this the website that said Armed Core 4 wasn't coming to the...

Thumbs up for mensioning the pistol from Halo CE though! I've always hated the way games start you of with a pistol that's absolutly useless. The fact that poeple (read: n00bs) winge about it being too powerful in multiplayer, makes it even better!
Surely most of this stuff has been said before...
Obviously, lowering their estimates isn't a good thing, but before the Sony fanboys celebrate, I suggest they wait for their PS3 to sell a few more units. And stop finding comfort in the fact that the PS3 outsells the 360 in Japan, because last time I checked, the clocked-up Gamecube - aka the Wii - trampled on the PS3 in Japan.

I prfered the original concept for this game. Yes, the Outer space setting has been done, but not in a stealth game. It looked very cool. This new setting just looks typically modern stealth game.(MGS 4 anyone? I think I'd prefer MGS4 for the story and characters.)
The original looked like it could be a slepper hit. But now I might give it a pass. But let's see how it plays.
